Supported Living YOUR way.
If you're seeking a personalised living arrangement that caters to your specific needs, you may consider Individualised Living Options (ILO). This innovative funding option empowers you to make decisions regarding your living situation, including where you reside, who your housemates are, and the type of support you receive.
Qualified individuals can access funding through the NDIS to tailor and maintain their support systems. The ultimate aim is to cultivate a sense of home and belonging while nurturing independence. Recognising that everyone's needs and preferences are unique, ILO offers flexibility and customisation. This funding supports various living arrangements, such as independent living, cohabiting with a partner, sharing a home with a housemate, or residing with a host. It can also accommodate diverse cultural and lifestyle preferences. To integrate ILO supports into your plan, a two-stage process is involved.
Understanding Individualised Living Options.
Firstly, you will collaboratively design the ILO supports that align with your desires, encompassing your preferred living arrangements, needed support, and the providers of the support. The subsequent stage involves implementing these tailored supports to suit your chosen lifestyle and support requirements, including informal support from friends and family that may not be covered by NDIS funding. Furthermore, your ILO supports can be adjusted to adapt to changing needs, ensuring the safety, stability, and flexibility you necessitate.
Emphasising more than just a place to reside, individualised living options are centred on creating a genuine home environment. With the right support in place, you can confidently pursue the life you aspire to live and work towards achieving your goals. If you are in search of a more personalised living option, ILO offers the ideal opportunity for tailored support and accommodation.

You require at least six hours of formal or informal support at home each day.
You are prepared to examine your living requirements, preferences, and choices.

You require 24-hour support from one or multiple support workers.
You require frequent overnight support.
Your behaviour support plan, if you have one, includes restrictive practices.
